A Quick Update from Ed
On Cindy's behalf, I would really like to thank all of you for your wonderful comments, your ongoing support, the cards and even gifts that have been sent Cindy's way - I can see why her blogging has become so special to her. If I haven't gotten back to you, I apologize, and I think Cindy will try to get back to you when she is better.
She is on the mend. Her progress is slower than she would like but she is starting to perk up a bit and her mind is starting to be a bit clearer. The cognitive fatigue is the hardest part of this for Cindy and stimulation i.e., phone conversations, the computer, too much noise, etc., tires her out quickly and she doesn't get replenished very quickly (or to what you or I take forgranted as normal functioning). Her pain is somewhat more manageable and this is also a good sign. It has been quite hot and humid here in Ontario which is not good for her but she is working hard to remain positive.
However, I do see some positive signs of improvement and I think she will realistically be back by next week (she told me to put a week on the last update which I didn't think was possible but I wanted to honour her request anyway). She misses you all.
Again, I thank you for all your ongoing support, friendship and encouragement!

So good to hear that she is feeling better! Thanks for the update Ed : )
Thanks Ed. I'm glad to hear she is on the mend.
Cynthia, as much as we miss you, I'm sure everyone agrees that we want to see you well again before we see you back to your regular blogging, so take it easy, K? Get well, hon. :)
Thank you so much for keeping us informed. Cynthia, I pray for your quick recovery. Get well, Dee fm KS

I'm so glad I checked this blog again this afternoon. What good news, to know you are starting to feel better Cynthia!! Thanks for keeping us updated, Ed. Continue to take care Cynthia, and we'll look forward to your return. Blessings to you all.
So glad to hear Cynthia is feeling better.
We do miss her.
Thanks for the post Ed. I was really getting scared after such a long time between posts.
No rush Cyn - take care of yourself!
Glad to hear of improvement!! Get well soon -- but don't push it, Cynthia! ; )
You're a gem, Ed to keep us posted. And if you're reading this, Cin ... you better be taking it easy or I'll join Amanda in giving you a whooping ... Okay, I'd only use strands of wool but it'll keep you away from the 'puter.
**hugs** to cynthia from all of us.
It was good to talk with you on the phone the other day!! maybe someday we'll find a place half-way between us and get together for a "howdy" :-)
Ed, it sounds like you are the perfect nurse. I'm glad she is recovering.
Thanks for the update… Cynthia, take your time. I haven't been e-mailing or anything because I worried that having unanswered e-mails would just add to the stress when you need to take it easy. But I've been thinking about you.
I'm glad to hear you're doing a better. You have such a sweet husband to blog for you.
I'm glad to hear she's on the mend. Take care.
I'm glad to hear that she's doing better. I hope she continues to improve.
Hi Cynthia. I'm glad to read that you are slowly on the mend. My best wishes for your further improvement!
Hi, Cynthia. Glad to hear that you are doing better. My prayers for your continued improvement and your family. Such a sweet husband....you are a lucky woman. Dee fm KS
Cynthia/Ed:
I have fibro too, so I can relate. Sorry you are feeling bad. Good knitty thoughs and yarn hugs coming your way.
I found your blog because you are one of the Yarn Aboard II participants. I made a bloglines list of all the people, and have been going through all the blogs.
Susan
I, too, found your blog from Amanda's (Toasty Toes) and am sorry to hear that you are not well. It is good to read that you are slowly on the mend, though. I hope that knitting helps to bring you comfort during this time!
