A Message from Ed
My girl is not well.
Cin has been having a rough couple of weeks with her Fibro, CFS and some treatment related issues which are causing a lot of pain, nausea, cognitive fatigue and exhaustion. She has kept lamenting about not posting, not getting to other's blogs, not returning emails and she needs to rest so I have decided some hubby action is in order.
She is on bed rest, possibly for the next week or so (unfortunately for Cin her doctor concurs so it is two against one!). Nick and I are taking care of her (we'll do our best men's best!).
She has her knitting which is she is working on here and there. She is stubborn, determined, frustrated and she hates to disappoint others. I need to help her alleviate her stress (and anxiety) so I just want everyone to know she will be back soon. I know she misses her blogger pals. She just needs to focus on getting over this little hump and get some seriously restorative rest.
Thanks for your understanding.
Ed

Good man, Ed.
And Cynthia - STAY IN BED and get better.
What a truly caring guy you are, Ed. Please tell Cynthia for heaven's sake not to worry about us, just rest. We'll be sending our strongest knitterly healing thoughts her way, and we'll be here when she gets back.
We'll send her some knitter's mojo and hope she feels better soon!
No worries. We're a patient bunch.
Sending major good thoughts her way and to your whole family. Of course we'll be here when she gets back :)
Of course we understand! Get better and we'll be waiting for you right here when you do. Hugs.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Thanks for the update, Ed!
Hope you feel better soon Cyn.
Big hug!

As another CFS sufferer, I know that sometimes the only thing you can do to get better is to do nothing... which is also the hardest thing to do. Hang in, and this too will pass.
"Remember the flight attendant's advice... you must put on your own oxygen mask first. Take a deep breath, then help others to breathe."
Rest and get well, Cynthia. Thanks, Ed, you're a nice guy.
Please give her a big hug, and tell her to rest!
I'll be knitting in her resting honor!
You've got a good husband - everyone stay healthy and be happy - this world can wait.
Just rest and get well soon. The blog can wait. We'll miss your words, but we care about your well-being more.
get better! we are thinking of you......
Dear Cindy,
Get well soon and please please listen to your doctor, that wonderful husband of yours and Nick. They want you well and so do I, along with many others.
Consider this message a big hug from me.
Take care,
Luv Dawn
Cynthia was right -- Eds do make good husbands. Thank you for posting this. Thank you for taking care of her. Tell her we are all thinking of her fondly and that we are happy to imagine her knitting in bed, but also happy to imagine her sleeping in bed and getting better in bed.
We are none of us going anywhere and will be right here when she is back on her feet.
send her my love -
Francesca (Stuntmother) married to another lovely Ed.
Thanks Ed.
Cynthia, I hope you feel better soon. Do what your guys tell you to do -- take advantage of being able to rest and let them take care of the housework, etc.. You deserve to rest and be well.
xoxo

You're a good man, Ed.
Let her know that I will be her pinch-knitter for the Amazing Lace if it comes to that. Or I could be the Stunt Knitter on anything else.
I'm here for you Cynthia. Or there for you if that's where you want me. Just get Ed to let me know.
Thanks for posting Ed!
Sending get well wishes your way Cynthia! Thank goodness you've got such great nurses!
Oh, sweetie, please listen and take care of yourself.
Ed, you sound like a great guy!
Ed you are so dear!
Cyn rest, rest, rest and do NOT worry. We can all wait. Absence makes the heart grow fonder they say, all I know is when I haven't heard from someone I care about in awhile I appreciate and enjoy our next time together.
So you do what you can and no more.
I'll be here!
Take care Ed.
Feel better soon Cyn!
Love,
~Bliss~
Hope you're feeling better soon, Cyn! Hang in there. It's good to know your guys are taking good care of you. HUGS!

Poor sweetie! Send her my love, tell her some more scrummy sock yarn is on it's way, and give yourself a pat on the back for being such a supportive wonderful husband. Support makes everything bearable.

Thanks for the update, Ed ! You and Nick can pass along a few gentle hugs to Cynthia from all of us. Tell her that we totally understand, and that blog-ville doesn't wear a wristwatch. ! (yes, it truly IS timeless)
We'll all be here whenever she feels well again.
Fiber is a hobby about joy and creation, not stress and deadlines.. so I am sure that she isn't going to be letting anyone down.
Stay in bed Cynthia - read knitting books, dabble on a pair of socks now and then, and rest!! (grins) Hope you bounce back soon.
You're a good man, Ed! Don't worry, Cindy we'll be missing you but want you better ... don't rush it. In this case, the men know best. [argh, did I just say that?] [well it's true] Hugs to both of you ...
Take care of the girl you guys. We'll be here if you need us.
I hope you feel better soon!
You aren't dissappointing anyone. I mean, you are because we miss you. But you aren't letting us down or anything. This isn't coming out right! But you know what I mean: feel better soon so that you can hurry back to blog land. Or get a laptop so you can blog from bed. Tho, I know you don't feel like it. HUG (but gently because I bet you are all achy).
Oh big hugs to you Cynthia, I hope you are feeling better soon.
More mojo coming to you from me.
I hope you feel better soon! I miss you, but want you to be commenting when you are well, and don't you DARE visit my blog until then.
You are in my prayers!
Warm thoughts winging their way to you - rest up and feel better soon!
Warmest thoughts and prayers for rapidly returning health!
We'll be here when you feel better!
What a sweet husband to update your blog Cin! I hope you take the time to rest and recoup,we will all be here when you get back to the computer! I'm sending healing thoughts your way!
Rest, recuperate, revive, return ... in that order, please :-)
You are the best ED! What a sweetie to up date her blog for her. Take your time and get stronger cyn. I have a friend with fibro so I understand. HUGS!
Way to go Ed. Sounds like Cynthia is being well taken care of. I agree with Dave, "rest, recuperate, revive, return". Blessings to you all.
I have never visited this blog before. Just tripped on it as I was searching for yarn shops around Clear Creek, Ontario Canada where I hope to do some genealogy research this fall.
I am so sorry Cin can not blog. But that is okay. We all ignore our blog once in a while.
I was just relieved she has her sticks.
I nap so much better in my easy chair holding my needles!!! It like a favorite robe or slippers. I just dream sweeter dreams with my needles in my hands.
Rest my dear. That dang blog with be there -- really it will be forever on the internet!

Wow! What a husband. With nurses like this, how can you help but get better, eh??? Just rest up girlie, and we will be here when you get back.
Thanks for the update, Ed.

Feel better soon Cynthia! In the meantime, I'll be thinking good thoughts and sending 'em your way. :-)
Get well soon Cyn!!
Take care of yourself and get lots of rest. It sounds like you have two great nurses!
Give her our best and if the doctors allow it, a nice epsom salts bath!
Mama Bear
Cynthia, I hope you feel better soon. Please take as much time as you need.
Get well soon, Cynthia! I've kept you in my thoughts over the past few days, and I hope you feel better before too long!
*HUGS*
Sending restful vibes to Cin from Boston. We'll be here, no worries!
It had been some time since I had been able to visit your blog Cynthia. I had just finished a project and was thinking a couple blanket squares would be a nice transition to the next project.
It's obvious from the comments that all your friends on the internet highway want you to take good care of yourself.
Relax and heal. Yarn is very patient.
(I'm late - typical!)
Ed - what a DUDE :-) Thanks for the update, Ed, and I hope Cyn is starting to feel better!
Oh, oh, browsing the Toasty Toes participants, here is really some sad news. All my best wishes go to you, Cynthia. Your Ed sounds as if he is a big support to you and there is an amazing bunch of blog friends in the comments above me. All these get-well-wishes will hopefully help to soothe your pain and frustration! I hope you are feeling better by now (I'm soo late with the comment)
Rest up and don't worry about a thing. Sometimes we have to take care of ourselves first!
Ed ... not to be a pest, but how is Cynthia doing?
This must have been one of the posts Bloglines lost on me - I hope you are feeling better and will be back soon :o)
